Chronic Pain:
Autogenic training has been effective in the management of chronic pain. The mind can influence the body to balance the self regulation systems that control circulation, breathing and heart rate. The goal is to relax the autonomic nervous system.
Relaxation Techniques:
Progressive muscle relaxation refers to the tensing and relaxing of groups of muscles to relieve muscle tension.
Guided Imagery:
Has been utilized to relieve pain, speed healing and mitigate symptoms in several medical ailments. Imagery is the language the mind uses to communicate with the body and is useful in mind body healing.
Diaphramatic Breathing:
An excellent method to release mental/physical stress and tension. It has been effective in mitigating pain and stress. It also has been known to improve digestion and unlocking blocked energy.
